Flyers' Simmonds: Make Sterling sell team

Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds, one of the few black players in the NHL, was disgusted by racist comments allegedly made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling that surfaced recently, and Simmonds urged the NBA to deliver a swift and harsh punishment.
"Make him sell the team, get him out of there," Simmonds said before Game 6 in the club's first-round series against the New York Rangers.
"It's really unfortunate because we live in a world today where there should be no color.
Asked if he'd have a problem playing for a team owner like Sterling, Simmonds responded: "Definitely.
Donald Sterling is kind of the opposite of I am." "You want the owner of your team to stand behind you and have faith in you," Simmonds said, "not to have that kind of outlook on life."
