Oneida Nation: NFL should be like NBA with Snyder

Clearly, the NFL doesn't see Daniel Snyder as an equivalent to Donald Sterling.
The NBA on Tuesday came down hard on Clippers owner Donald Sterling, banning him for life from the league and fining him $2.5 million for the racial comments he made.
On Tuesday evening, the Oneida Nation, which clearly is on a mission to force Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to change the nickname of his team, responded with applause for the NBA and with some advice for the NFL.
Said the Oneida Nation in a statement: “By banning Clippers owner Donald Sterling, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and other NBA team owners have taken a courageous stand against racism in professional sports, acknowledging that professional leagues must not be a platform to promote bigotry.
For now, though, the NFL seems to agree with Snyder.
