Tony La Russa has a new front office job with the D-Backs.
   The Diamondbacks have named long-time big leaguer manager Tony La Russa their new Chief Baseball Officer, the team announced.
   La Russa will oversee the team's baseball operations department and will work to determine if changes are needed.
   La Russa, 69, retired from managing after leading the Cardinals to the 2011 World Series title.
   The D-Backs come into Saturday with a 16-28 record, tied with the Astros for the most losses in baseball.
